I think that they thought that the Romans were very smart and I think that since they couldn't explain it they blamed the gods.
the plantes were named after the roman gods because the romans discovered the planets.
I thing it's because the rom,ans discovered the planets and maybe the charecteristics of some planets reminded them of the powers their gods held.
Austins a loser
the plantes becanme roman gods but then they became more and more to make sence about the other worlds.
